Some new versions of this mount are shipped with a sheet metal shroud that the optic sits in. This shroud is not compatible with my mounts without modification. The locating pins on my mounts are on the front of the optic to be compatible with as many optics as possible, and this sheet metal shroud only has holes in it for the rear pins. It will need to be modified by drilling two clearance holes in order to be used. |
